Sarah’s mom came to me with the request of color – fall color – and lots of it! She knew I had a lot of experience in Walpole family photography so we went to Bird Park per my suggestion. It was already later in the season, so we got there as quick as we could, and made it in time for all of the yellow and orange to be in their perfect glory on a bright fall day. It was exactly what they were looking for and we were all so thrilled! Sarah crawled, explored, and snuggled with mom and dad for well over an hour.
We started at one of the spots I use frequently. It’s a great little area because of the light shade from trees and hidden spot from crowds. Sarah used the holes in the bridge to stand and loved it!
Fall color? Yes, please! Look at these yellows and oranges! Sarah enjoyed being swung by her parents, and I love how the oak tree frames them. Getting very low creates the background of full color while cutting out the neutral tall grass below. All three of their expressions are priceless! After that they sat and read books. More snuggles under a different yellow tree! Clapping, playing games, and singing songs is the best way to get 1-year-olds to be expressive. A perfect way to spend your 1st birthday!
A few last images of just Sarah for her Birthday. She needed a little support and this gorgeous, moss-covered stone was just the thing to keep her attention.
If you are looking for Walpole family photography, I’d love to hear from you! Bird Park is a wonderful spot, but it is certainly one among many. I have preferred parks I like to go to ranging from Boston to Rhode Island! Fall sessions are certainly popular and begin booking in early August for late-september, early-October spots. Just in time for the holidays!
