Another beautiful Walpole fall mini-session! Days like this are part of the special I run each fall, and let clients book before anyone else. The spots go quickly as they are pretty popular! This was the 45min session. Just enough time to get a good variety of image. Mini-sessions are scheduled back-to-back with other families. We are limited a bit in terms of how far we can wander, however it’s a system that works great with families that have a little older kids, and children who follow directions well. Shy children or those who need a while to warm up are better off in a full family session.
This family first called the studio when their youngest daughter was just a few months old. I remember trying to balance the little girl on her siblings laps! Since then, they have come year after year and I have had the treat of seeing how much they grow each fall! This fall was special, though. Because this fall mom and dad joined in, too! The colors they picked worked great for our warm September day.
Once we warmed up with a few family poses, we wandered over to one of my favorite spots for individual photos. I love this stone and the moss. It creates such a lovely depth and texture!
Of course the client’s final collection of images includes the shot below with all siblings looking at the camera, but I think this is so much nicer! What a sweet little sister to gaze up a big sister like that!
If you are interested in a Walpole fall mini-session, I’d love to hear from you!
