This short-and-sweet 10min 2015 Fall Mini Session was the second time I got to photograph little Evelyn. She has the greatest, bouncy blonde hair that is just so cute! Her mom dressed her in a great deep purple color which looked fabulous against the fall tones. Jewel tones always bring out the best of Fall! We met during a mini-session day in North Attleboro on a local path. I love this spot because of it’s simplicity. The leaves scattered on the path reflect a great color for skin tones, and mask what would normally be the greens affecting that.
The first thing we did was have Evelyn sit in the chair I brought. We chatted for a few moments about school and toys. Getting kids warmed up is so important for getting the best facial expressions!
I love that this series shows off this little girl’s big personality! What a cutie!
The image below is the same as the header image, in black and white. It works in either format!
After we captured her more classic portraits (from silly to serious!), Evelyn had a great time playing in the leaves. What kid doesn’t light up when tossing leaves? The whole series shows off her smile and great expressions! Finally, she got to let loose and play!
A lot can be accomplished in a short session! For kids who know the photographer and listen well to directions, this is sometimes all you need to nail a great portrait for holiday cards, gifts, and a bunch of fun images for mom, too! Thank you, Evelyn, for coming to see me again! It was such a treat to see how much you have grown!
