Seeing families again and again over the years is so much fun! This year we met at Stonybrook for a Norfolk MA fall mini session. It ended up being a little bit more than just a mini-session, though! This crew is such a blast. Mom always does a great job of prepping the kids and their outfits! And dad is a photographer himself, so all around a session to look forward to each fall.
We started on the boardwalk at Stonybrook. It’s a spot where local bird-watchers and families go because it is so peaceful and beautiful. Of course we wanted to grab as much fall color as we could, so this corner railing and orange tree was a great place to begin! The kiddos know me by now, and that makes it easier to encourage tickles and true laughter. I love the snuggles in this one!
Sometimes images were you can’t necessarily see the whole face, but can see the closeness makes the best moments. The kids here are so genuinely happy! And with them up on the railings, I have made it so that their faces can be close to their parents, yet it still shows how little they are. I love seeing how kids grow. Someday they will be way to big to do this!
Of course we make time for a more posed portrait. Everybody look at the camera! Now for the one on the right, below, little bro just couldn’t take his eyes off of big sis. Then it was time to get silly with the two of them! So much fun playing on the boardwalk and letting them be themselves!
This little man’s expression and his sisters bouncing curls — ahh perfection! And the colors mom picked for them are so perfect with our fall palette in the background.
