I was so excited that this family chose me as their Framingham family photographer! They are friends with another new client, whom loved their images so much they told their friends and two weeks later here we were! Their two little girls were dressed in adorable puffer vests in bright colors. Perfect for fall! The day we met was quite chilly but sunny, and perfect for a photo session.
We started by saying hello for a few minutes, as this was the first time we met. The girls got used to me and the camera as we walked along and started to circle our way through the park. I had never been to Framingham State Park before and was shocked at how large it was! It is an incredibly lovely place to hike, explore, and be photographed!
We found this puddle which, in person, was pretty icky. But I knew that the light was going to create this gorgeous reflection in-camera. Thank goodness the family trusted me as the put their toes in the mud for this one! The girls had a blast throwing rocks into the water.
We kept walking along, finding a great spot, then moving forward again. I was surprised to see this corn field! A great place to play because of those beautiful, neutral fall colors.
Mom and dad took some time with the girls separately. It’s so important to have time to stop and take advantage of the moment during family photo sessions.
Finally we stumbled upon this great area with straight trees, no undergrowth, and tons of yellow leaves! Of course leaf tossing was a candid event and a great time!
Racing back to the car, mom and the oldest daughter ran along this narrow footpath. So pretty! And I love that the little girl is looking at mom as if to say “you can’t catch me!”.
