This family has been in front of my camera in the past — but now they are a family of five! I was so happy to meet their newest member. We spent an hour in the family’s home photographing an unscripted session. The two older kids I already knew from past sessions and are just so sweet. I love being their Foxboro family photographer!
Unscripted sessions are a lot of fun! The unstructured style of photographing also tend to be less stressful on the parents than traditional family sessions. The expectation for pinterest perfection is lost. The goal is to capture the kids in their environment being themselves. The experience and resulting images are more real, and often more cherished, than ever.
The two older kids started by reading books – older sister to younger brother. After that we went upstairs for a little fun playing airplane in mom and dad’s room! They all had fun and there were giggles all around! Even the little one got into it.
Older sister wanted to show me her stuffed animal collection. She cared for each one and placed it just so. Then, of course, more reading! Nothing is cuter than a pre-school bookworm!
Finally, we decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and go outside. I didn’t direct but the family was aware of the camera. I think my favorite is when older sister tried SO hard to blow bubbles and throw that airplane at the exact same time. That feat got accomplished and repeated several times. Amazing effort! Little-kid goals are the best to watch!
If you are looking for a Foxboro family photographer for either an Unscripted-style session or a traditional (still energy-filled!) photography session I’d love to hear from you!
